Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams

Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.

Welcome to us

Open Care for Children and Youth 2 is a pleasant and development-oriented open care unit that provides high-quality treatment interventions and network work for children, young people, and their families.

One of our network meeting leaders is moving on to new assignments, and one will be on parental leave. Therefore, we are looking for two stars to complement our team (one permanent position and one temporary position).

The Network Team works with many different types of network meetings; traditional network meetings, network investigative meetings within the framework of child welfare and family law investigations, official meetings, SIP (Coordinated Individual Plan), and meetings in school assignments. In addition to all this, the Network Team receives assignments from schools in the district and conducts safety planning meetings according to Signs of Safety.

We offer

We offer you an important, developing, and exciting role in a work group with a lot of competence and drive.

You will be part of a large open care unit characterized by a pleasant atmosphere, engagement, high competence, and a focus on development and continuous improvement. The organization has a lot of experience and knowledge and the opportunity for collegial learning.

The Network Team has regular external supervision in network work.

As an employee with us, you have a wellness allowance and the opportunity to take advantage of favorable offers from several gym chains and swimming pools. Read more about our benefits here.

Your role

Assignments to the Network Team primarily come from social workers in the Child and Youth Units. As a network meeting leader, you work to mobilize the private and professional networks surrounding children, young people, and parents to then hold one or more network meetings.

The purpose of these meetings is, among other things, to stimulate engagement, improve collaboration, and clarify roles and goals to create the best possible conditions for change work.

The Network Team also works with information about and development of network work and the systemic approach.

As a network meeting leader, you enjoy leading meetings with many participants and driving processes forward. You also have a clear child perspective and place great importance on the participation of children and young people in the process.

You take responsibility for your work and are flexible and adaptable depending on what the situation requires. We always want to develop and improve, and we hope you are attracted to and involved in that work while focusing on your main assignment. To thrive with us, you must appreciate a varied workday where network meetings with people in difficult situations are an important part.

In addition to referrals from the Child and Youth Units, referrals also come from First Line Social Services, schools in the area, LSS, and financial assistance.

Your competence and experience

Requirements for the position, you have:

  • A degree in social work.
  • At least one year of experience in social work after obtaining your degree, preferably as a social worker in a child and youth unit or as a school counselor or child psychiatrist.

Meritorious for the position, we would like you to have:

  • Experience in network work and/or SIP.
  • Knowledge and skills in Signs of Safety.
  • Experience in Safety Planning according to Signs of Safety.
  • Network leader training or other training related to network work.

We are looking for someone who is structured, flexible, and can work both independently and collaboratively in complex cases. You have a documented good ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner.

We place great emphasis on personal abilities and skills.

Your application

We recruit without a personal letter in this recruitment to strengthen the focus on the competencies and experiences requested for this role. In assessing your application, we will only base our evaluation on your CV and a number of questions you will need to answer when applying for the position. We ask that you respond concretely and concisely to the questions, and that there is a clear connection between your answers and your CV. Do not wait with your application as interviews may take place continuously during the application period. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at considering each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
